In my last post (about 3 hours ago), which I made to release the latest version of the PDF Power Brand software application, I told you I had something important to say but that it had to be said in another post. Well, this is that post. And if you read the headline of this post you may already be shocked. I am not joking, PDF-Power-Brand.com is closing!

Now you may think that  it’s odd that I would release a new version of the software and give you an affiliate promotion to set up, when I had the intention of telling you that the site is closing?

Read on and you will realize that I am not messing you around, I have not lost my mind and I am not letting anyone down.

When I first launched PDF-Power-Brand back in June 2006, it was simply a free PDF Branding Software, which I created to help me build a mailing list and make some money, but mainly to build a list. After launch I pretty much left it alone, it was doing really well on it’s own. That is, until the Windows came out with Vista. This caused problems for our customers because when Vista was an extremely buggy OS (it’s not any more but it was) PDF Power Brand did not work on Vista machines.

The caused us to completely rewrite the software application in a new (better) programming language and take a fresh look at the site.

Back then, we did not offer any tools for merchant or affiliates to help them find more success in their affiliate marketing campaigns. We gave you the software but didn’t really tell you that much about how to use it or offer any real help in your marketing.

This changed when we re-coded the software.

• Now we have the “e-BOOK Vault” which allows anyone to leverage more affiliate marketers to promote product  — Add your product to the vault and you put in front of 10,000+ potential affiliate marketers. It’s not just my list anymore, it’s everyones… if they add a campaign to the vault.
• We have clearer instructions on how to set up a complete affiliate marketing campaign, both for merchants and affiliate marketers
• And we have the “Affiliate Blog Feed” tool, which is an awesome affiliate leverage tool on it’s own… but not many people have realised that yet because they sill think that all we offer is free PDF branding software. That is what the domain name is telling them.

We offer a lot more than just a free PDF Branding software now, we offer a “Viral Marketing Method” that any merchant who operates an affiliate program can easily plug their website into and make more affiliate sales. The name “PDF Power Brand” does not do this system justice. That is why we are moving the membership site to a new domain at ViralMarketingMethod.com

The software application called PDF Power Brand will still be called PDF Power Brand, it will still be offered from the PDF Power Brand website, and I will still use this blog to post about the new complete campaigns that are  added to the vault (actually, I am going to give the product owner their own account here, so they can post updates about their product and create a unique RSS feed for affiliates to use with the affiliate blog feed tool.  (if they wish)).

All that is really changing is that PDF Power Brand is becoming a part of Viral Marketing Method. It makes a lot of sence to do this.

So how does this affect you, the members?

The only way this will affect you is positively!

• The new domain name will make it easier for you to make affiliate sales. – The hyphenated domain name PDF-Power-Brand belongs back in 2005 when I registered it. ViralMarketingMethod.com packs a much bigger marketing punch and reaches a much larger audence more easily. If you are marketing PDF Power Brand as an affiliate, this change is good news for you. (You will still be able to do exactly what you are doing now if you wish).
• You’ll have better, cooler tools in your members area. We are working on coding some really nice sweets for you. (Don’t want to let too many details out yet, but I’m sure what we are coding will delight you)
• You’ll have your own member profile page and the ability to connect with and socialise with other members on the site. (You will expecially love this if you are a GOLD member or above because you will control the ad space on everyone’s profile page, just like you do in the PDF Power Brand app and members area).
• It will be easier for you to leverage affiliate sales as a merchant as we will have more than the “Brandable PDF List Builiding” method available.
• It will be easier for you to set up campaigns as an affiliate.
• Your affiliate links will automatically redirect (permanently) to the new site, so their will be nothing you need to do.  Any viral PDF files you have out their which are promoting your PDF Power Brand affiliate link will automatically begin promoting your ViralMarketingMethod affiliate link when we officially make the change. This redirect will be in place permanently!
• You will be able to add brandable e-books to the Vault which were not made with PDF Power Brand so any exisiting brandable e-books campaings you may have made with another Viral PDF software will be accepted into the vault and exposed to all members. In fact, your campaigns will no longer require a PDF file anymore. Just a blog feed and squeeze page site. (And we will give you a free blog feed, and maybe even the squeeze pages and affiliate program)!

And there is a lot more to come. Our programmers have been working hard for the last month on some fantastic improvements to the affiliate blog feed tool. I’m not going to tell you much else than you will love what we are coding for you, especially if you are a GOLD member or above. Shh… more about this in a few days.

Also on the drawing board is an integrated affiliate network, giving you the option to use our tools to run your own affiliate program to sell your product. Our aim is to create the ultimate affiliate leverage service. Give affiliates the tools they need to make sales for the merchant and to build up a massive database of affiliates who are using the tools.

Plugging your site into Viral Marketing Method, could be the best thing you ever did!

So why am I telling you about this now? Why didn’t I just save it until after the change was made? After all it’s not going to affect you or your links in any way really, other than making your membership a whole lot better.

The reason I am telling you now is 2 fold.

1. This is something that deserves a little hype and I am starting to create that hype now. In the next day or so, the sales copy at PDF Power Brand is going to change and begin selling founder memberships at Viral Marketing Method. (Before the site launches). Hype makes sales and when the hype is deserved it can make a lot of sales.
2. I want to ask for your help in launching Viral Marketing Method to the world. I’m looking for unique bonuses to add to the sign up page. If you would like to add a sign up bonus I’d love to hear your deal. I’m looking for quality, compatible tools. I.E. Something that will help affiliates to promote or merchants to create better offers.
